Astros struck out 17 times, but scored 8 runs.

Speaking of the Astros, Luis Valbuena has 16 HRs (tied for 11th in MLB) in 247 PAs, but only 0.4 WAR.

 

Fowler has 1.2 WAR, for comparison.

Didn't look good, that sucks.

 

Looked pretty weird. Couldn't tell exactly what happened. Just watching the replay, looked like his right leg but he's clutching his left one.

Wow. That's gotta be worse than losing it on a bunt. At least he got the no-no. But damn, it sucks he lost the perfecto like THAT. The unwritten baseball rules will see Tabata tomorrow.

In case people hadn't noticed, Chris Sale has struck out 10 or more in 7 of his last 8 games. His K-log for the last 8 games is...

So in the two no hitters we've had this year, all four players who reached base did so with a HBP. No walks and no errors.

 

EDIT: Also, Scherzer had 1 complete game in the first 210 starts of his career. He's completed each of the last two.
