Baxter in June:

.324 .405 .351 .756

Denorfia in June:

.279 .318 .393 .712

Soler in May:

.288 .336 .423 .759

Obviously everyone wants Soler back and he's ideally much, much better for the Cubs in the long run, but talking like he's all but a lock to give them an instant shot of mega-bat to a struggling offense might be jumping the gun a bit.

Who said that?

Not you, so don't worry about it.

Is this Pham character who won the game for the Cards today legit or more pixie dust?

27 years old AAAA-type, high slugging most of the way through the minors. Probably a mix of both.

This is probably a net positive for us anyway, but STL tried to bunt in the 10th with Mark [expletive] Reynolds. After he got Molina thrown out at first when that inevitably failed, he hits a [expletive] can of corn that somehow goes out for his 2nd homer of the game.

his first HR came a pitch after ump called strike 3 a foul

Cardinals blow 3 leads and McCutchen wins it in the 14th with a walkoff homer.

With several BFIB advocating throwing at his head for daring to celebrate a huge win over a division rival

Odds Peralta gets busted for PEDs in the second half?

You have no idea how much I'd love that.

I live in St. Louis. My hatred for them burns with the fire of 1,000 suns.

Do we want the Cardinals to win? It does concede the division, but I almost feel like a split of a 4-game series is best for the Cubs.
