First Sunday noon game in a month. I used to look forward to those things. I think Detroit can clinch the division this week, and they are favored by a touchdown so they should be able to do it easily.

What new embarrassment will not surprise us this week? Who knows? Who cares?

Wow, Detroit opened at -4.5 it already jumped to -7?

Random thought here, but isn't Stafford basically a younger Cutler? Their numbers, on the surface, aren't so dissimilar

I think this is the part where Sneaky comes in with a bunch of metrics showing how Cutler isn't close to Stafford.

Stafford is probably a little less erratic, but on the whole no. Last I looked Cutler had the better DVOA this year." But they were like neck and neck.

eh, the QB stat i place the most value in just ranks Stafford 13th (min. 12 G) this year

i'd mention Cutler's ranking, but that would probably be construed as trolling

Hey with a couple of good weeks to close out the year he might be able to leap over Cousins and Stanton and secure a spot in the low 20's

I heard on the radio that Fuller is Pro Football Focus's lowest rated CB from week 4 on.

There are a lot of reasons for that...he's faced some great WRs (Nelson, Megatron, Bryant, etc), he's been injured, the secondary around him is in shambles, etc, so I'm not going to be too down on him but man that is a shitty stat.

And he's had terrible coaching.

Yea I won't even mention matchups because frankly the league is full of tough matchups. Coaching and health could go a long way for Fuller.

Report: Jimmy Clausen to start for the Bears in Week 16 over Jay Cutler. (via @AdamSchefter)

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha. I thought we'd reached fun bad maximus, but this is even worse/better.

I can't [expletive] believe it. Can we start Groy again. And Leno. As long as I don't have to worry that my QBs head is ripped off, might as well.

Also what's the point of Clausen? Might as well give Fales a shot.

Non Bears fan asking the question.... but with Cutler's salary guaranteed for next year, I don't understand this play. Cutting Cutler would be a salary gap disaster, so does this mean they trade him? Is this just a move for the end of the year? Why?

This is more baffling than the Redskins and the RG3 snafu.

Im guessing with the recent [expletive], Cutler asked out to some extent. Or could be Trestman trying to save his job by showing another QB can get it snd push the blame to Jay (would have Clausen and McCown as evidence).

I think at this point it has to do with zero alliance of coaching and front office.

Maybe it's a [expletive] you from Marc to Emery. Retaining Kromer was my decision. So is this. He already has nothing to lose himself.
