Those personalities pontificating about whatever is not a huge percentage of programming, unless you're talking about them narrating over highlights, which is pretty easy to tune out. It's a 24 hour network so I'm not expecting everything to be gold(seriously, that Chris Russo show is beyond useless), but it's way better than most of what's out there because they actually show baseball happening instead of putting cameras on idiots for most of their shows(this still happens some, because again, 24 hour network) like BBTN.

 

Well, yes, watching actual baseball is their only saving grace.

Yes, they have to bring on a bunch of mouthbreathing ex-players to keep the casual/meatballs tuning in, but it really is just so much better than the alternative networks.

Actually, I've always thought Kaplan looks like someone you would assume to be a reasonable dude, unlike, say, Colin Cowherd, who you can tell is a mealy mouthed idiot just from looking at him.
