The BBs are great, but it's the drop in Ks that's really exciting.

 

The fact that he's getting promoted soon is what's really coming. Javy is coming.

 

I've been trying to rein in my optimism about that, but it's becoming increasingly difficult.

This is why over in the Rizzo thread I was optimistic about Javy's ability to be as good if not better than Rizzo at the plate. If he cuts down the K's and increases the BB's, then he might be one of the most dangerous hitters in the majors. That said, what Rizzo has done the last few games since I posted that is making that look like an insurmountable task, not that I'm complaining

TIL Lars Anderson is in the Chicago Cubs system. Hmm, he wasn't putting up awful numbers at AAA, but considering how old he is now it's not that special. He can be soemone else's Bryan LaHair some day
