The traditional lefty-lefty advantage does not work when the lefty is [expletive] terrible.

Whenever Renteria brings in Russell to face a lefty, he's basically Mr. Burns pinch hitting for Darryl Strawberry.

We'd have an epic starting hand in lineup Rack-o.

Starting with leadoff at .275, every player in the lineup right now has a lower batting average than the one before except Castro. If Casto were between .208 and .260, it'd be perfect.

Wait, why does Barney have a bat in this situation?

Apparently, Wood, Valbuena and Castillo died and nobody told us.

18 innings without a run.

So the first pitch to Sandoval is a WP which moves Posey to second. Then he fouls off the second pitch. Then you decide to walk him? How does that make sense?

If Castro and Rizzo would start hitting again, I'd be able to upgrade my feelings toward this team from sad to indifferent.

Castro and Rizzo are fine.

Have we seen enough Mike Olt yet?

Yes we have, although what's the point of DFAing him until someone gets called up, unless you think Manny could fix him.

Yeah, it's tough to get upset about Olt's playing time. It's usually a choice between him or Barney in the lineup. The only person that could realistically be called up is Watkins. That spot is going to be deadweight until one or two of Baez/Alcantara/Villanueva/Bryant/Bruno are ready.
