1: @ PIT, 7 IP 0 ER, leaves tied 0-0, Cubs lose in 10th inning 1-0

2: v PHI, 7 IP 2 ER, leaves down 2-0, Cubs lose 2-0

3: @ STL, 7 IP, 1 ER, leaves up 3-1, Cubs blow 9th inning lead but win 6-3

4: v CIN, 7 IP 1 ER, leaves down 3-1, Cubs lose 4-1

5: v ARI, 7.1 IP 2 ER, leaves up 5-2, Cubs give up 5 in the 9th and lose 7-5

6: @ CIN, 5.2 3 ER, leaves down 3-2, Cubs lose 3-2

7: v CWS, 9 IP 0 ER, leaves tied 1-1, Cubs lose 2-1 in 12

8: @ ATL, 6 IP 0 ER, leaves tied 0-0, Cubs lose 2-0

9: v MIL, 5 IP 2 ER, leaves down 4-3, Cubs lose 4-3

10: v NYY, 7 IP 0 ER, leaves up 2-0, Cubs tied 2-2

In 6 of his 10 starts he's left the game tied or in the lead. The Cubs have gone 1-5 in those games, with the 1 win coming after they blew a multiple run lead in the 9th.

In Sharks 10 starts, he has pitched all but 24 innings in those games. In those 24 innings he has NOT pitched, the Cubs offense has scored 3 runs, all in 1 inning.

Why are you so wrapped up in this wins for Samardzija [expletive]?

I would die happy if I never heard a reference to pitcher W-L ever again.

They only scored in one game after he has left too. Castillo's 3-run HR is it. They've been outscored 3-13 after Samardzija leaves.

I don't know. I hate W-L as a stat too, but this fascinates me. At the very least, the more attention this gets, the most people realize how stupid and flawed W-L is.

Plus there will certainly be some article somewhere talking about how their local team shouldn't trade for Shark because he's not a winner.

I just shook PTR's hand. "we need to spend on some free agents, Tom. Please."

PTR "We'll get there. We'll get there"

Hope you spit on it beforehand.

And kept an eye on his wandering left hand

I'm pretty sure Todd snuck up from behind while you were chatting and swiped your wallet.

Pretty much told me the same thing when I met him at the Blackhawk's game. Though we were pretty much in agreement that the rooftop owners could go screw themselves.

You guys are letting him off too easy. This team has had a lot of failures that had nothing to do with spending money.

If JD is mocking Jeter as much as I think he is, I somehow love him even more.
