Hard to believe Milwaukee can't find room for Fiers on their staff. He came into today with 47/3 K/bb ratio in 33 IP with a 0.80 ERA.

You can go ahead release Vitters now.

The day after he hit a HR?

oooooh, he did? Bump the OPS back over 600?

Better than Olt.

Olt's been terrible, but whatever Vitters gives you over him offensively, he's going to give back in the field. And as bad as Olt has been, he's been better than what Vitters showed in his MLB stint.

They're both bad, but Vitters is still a worse option.

Vitters HR

jesus kyle

stop actually believing in javy you [expletive]

Please, Kyle? You have a gift. Baez is hitting .149/.232/.311 and has struck out 31 times in 74 at bats. What more do you need to put in a bad word on his behalf? Think of the children! Do it for the kids, damn you!

prevailing wisdom before the season was he'd have a good level of success in iowa and be called up after the control deadline or whatever the [expletive] you call it

During offseasons, the only conversation anyone wants to have about any prospects is "what happens if he crushes the league he'll be in from the moment the season starts and never looks back, how fast could he zoom up?"

Yeah, I don't think Baez sees the majors this year.

I don't think that was ever going to happen regardless ...

That may have been widely assumed, but many people thought they would look to hold him back through the 2015 deadline along with Bryant, and start it all then.
