Edwards' numbers are just too good for it to be anyone else. I looked at Alcantara because he's the same age but one level higher, but there just wasn't anything special about his production. Good across the board, but no one thing stood out. With C.J., every stat is special. Unheralded draft pick. Never even recruited for a college. Played on a local sandlot team. Rail thin. Comes out of nowhere. I don't know how he's done what he's done, but he's done it.

I would suggest including Eloy Jiminez in the polls soon. I doubt he'll be top 10, but some publications have had him pretty high, and dummies like me vote disproportionately on ceiling.

I initially included him on this one but took him out because I figured it was pointless to add a bunch of new names when you only have one vote and CJ is likely to run away with the vote.

I'll add Eloy next round. Any other names people want me to add?

Muskat is really trying to make "core four" a thing. I mean I know they are the future core of the team, but she's acting like that's how they put their names in at restaurants. "Yeah just put it under 'core four'". I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Muskat is pretty awful in general at everything.

No, she's really pushing it.

I could die a happy man if I go the rest of my life never hearing the term core four or super utility.

is she the one who coined that? She was asking Almora just recently and referred to the "core four" as if it was something "other people" were calling them.

That's what I'm getting at. It's really getting annoying.

Hey it'll be core five for sure after we draft. But you're getting at it maybe 2 more will emerge. Then we can all be the Brady bunch. The Bra~dy Bunch, the Brady Bunch. That's the way we became the Brady Bunch. Ba dumdum dumdumDADADUM.
