Anyone who blames Cutler for that loss had their mind made up about it long ago.

 

He played well enough to win. Drops, bad calls by officials, inexplicable play from the defense, and too many 1st half three-and-outs did it today. Not Cutler.

i dont think the Bears tried to ignore the defense. they made a bad hire at coordinator, suffered multiple injuries, and drafted poorly the last few years.
