It's also worth pointing out that Major Wright basically body-slammed Jordy Nelson on the 4th and 8. Kind of surprised there was no flag for it.

Ugh, between the safeties and the line, I don't know what position needs more help on this team.

I'm glad to see that the fumble left on the ground by the defense and picked up 10 seconds later for a TD is the difference in the game

You could also say that the gift of the personal foul penalty on Rodgers took away the Bears' chance to tie with a field goal at the end.

win with a FG you mean

They would have been down 3 with the Packers kicking the extra point instead of going for two, but a lot of hypotheticals in there.

Good point, i usually catch that.

Wait, no, I think you were right the first time. Too hard to do Math after that one.

sulley was completely right... the most heartbreaking way imaginable

there is a God and he hates the Bears, Cubs, and Bulls

We got 6 titles in 8 years.

And look how we're paying for it.

By having a top team for the last 4 years? Injuries happen.

the point is maximum pain. Having a top 5 players injuries destroy 3 consecutive seasons, and then come back (lets hope so) as the core around him is dismantled.

whatever im not in the mood to argue about the [expletive] bulls right now.

Good job:

Cutler

Forte

Jeffery

Marshall

Go [expletive] yourself:

Mel Tucker

Chris Conte

This entire [expletive] piece of [expletive] defense

Yes, how did I forget that mediocre piece of [expletive].

my fear is that the stupid, combined with this loss that isn't even remotely on him, means that Cutler doesn't come back

and if that happens, [expletive] Bears fans. they deserve terrible QB play.

Why are you praising him by calling him mediocre? he had the worst net punt average in the NFL this year and was even worse than normal in a do or die game. One of his shitty ass 30 yard punts directly led to a Packers TD in a 5 point game.

We played up to our ability honestly. Not enough horses on D.

We should be really good next year if we add the right pieces on D.

[expletive] next year. I'm tired of hearing that. What makes it worse is we've avoided a full rebuild job yet never make the playoffs. Fml

The line. Average safety play is much more easy to come by and live with if you are getting the proper pressure and run support in your front 4/front 7.

Do the Bears have a pretty optimistic cap outlook? I really hope so because I think even if you went all out in the draft, its not enough to restock our D next year.

Oh and of course it HAD to be the Packers that come into our house and beat us for the division. HAD to be them. What did we do to deserve this?

[expletive] off Dallas, we should have clinched the division before playing last week. Who blows a [expletive] 23 point halftime lead to [expletive] Matt Flynn?

And [expletive] off Trestman for kicking on 2nd down. I still love you but [expletive] off Gould for missing that FG

Yeah cap looks good. Of course the Bears have about 30 free agents and no QB as of right now. Thankfully most are on defense.

Well one half of the team went through a full rebuild in two years, with really just two carry over pieces. Not sure what would have been so appealing about a couple shitty teams thrown in there, especially because we gave up so many draft picks anyways to get Jay and our D is suffering from depth as much as it is top of the line talent. They aren't in the current state becuase they never had some high draft pick, which isn't really even that big of a deal in the NFL.

I feel like we've had nothing but a dumpster fire at both safety positions since Mike Brown left. Either this team sucks at finding decent safeties, or it's harder than you might think.

Well the exact same safeties that were dumpster fire this year looked a lot better even last year with a more productive front 7. They were average to below average and passable.
