Mizzou beats A&M and Bama is out for sure?

One would think, but the fatalist in me thinks that the Bama name would keep them in front of 12-1 Mizzou for some unfathomable reason.

If Auburn wins the SEC Title Game, there's no doubt they should be ahead of Ohio State.

I don't. If not for a miraculous 4th and 18 tipped-pass TD, they have 2 losses right now.

Lol @ Saban. Although now I REALLY wish Michigan had converted that 2-point attempt. Go Sparty!

That would have caused unspeakable chaos and would have sent the BCS out on a high note. SOB.

Nah, they'd be in the title game with MSU and Duke wins.

No way they get in over Mizzou or Auburn if they play each other in the SEC championship game.

It wouldn't completely shock me if Auburn and Bama both wind up ahead of OSU on Monday.

I would bet a hell of a lot of money that 1 loss Bama would make it over 2 loss Mizzou. I'd bet a slightly smaller amount they'd get in over 2 loss Auburn.

Yeah, but as long as Mizzou wins tonight, one of those guys only has 1 loss at season's end, plus a win over each other. So you'd need Duke and Sparty to win to get Bama through, and even then maybe only if Mizzou won to avoid a rematch.

Forget just the FG attempt, Alabama seemed to be in control of that game. 3 missed FGs, a 4th and 1 that wasn't converted at the 15 yard line when a FG would have made it a 2 possession game with ~4:30. Then Saban is kind of running out the clock by running 3 draw plays in a row, the last of which happens to go for 20+ yards and puts the team in Hail Mary range except the clock expires. I've never seen a clock ruling overturned before but in this case somehow it happens.

Just an amazing crazy game and finish.

The winner of the SEC championship game, if it is Mizzou/Auburn will only have 1 loss.

Are you talking title game or BCS games? Because if Mizzou and Auburn play in the SEC title game, one of them will leave with one-loss. Obviously the pollsters put Bama in front of the loser of that game. You're not really going out on a limb with that one.

You've never seen a clock ruling overturned? An almost-identical overturn got Texas into the 2009 national title game after time had seemingly run out in the Big 12 title game.

even though most of those auburn fans are completely illiterate, it's still cool to hear pandemonium break out during the course of a play.

higher percentage of Auburn fans actually went to school at AU than UA. The easy decision for Alabama residents is to become an Alabama fan. War [expletive] Eagle.

No, USC has no chance of making the title game.

Not with 2 losses.

Yeah, MSU probably jumps South Carolina with a win over Ohio State and you'd still have Bama, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Baylor all with one loss. And two of those can't pick up a second loss.

A two-loss team has no shot at the title game this year. Even if total anarchy happens (A&M over Mizzou, SCar over Auburn, Duke over FSU, MSU over OSU, OU over OSU, Texas over Baylor), you still have one-loss Bama, FSU, Ohio State and MSU.
