I still have no idea who I want to win the Iron Bowl. Mizzou would have a much better shot at beating Auburn, but part of me worries that 11-1 Alabama somehow stays in front of 12-1 Mizzou in the BCS standings.

 

Unless Auburn blows them out, I'd expect that to be the case.

One would think Mizzou would pass them with a win over Auburn, though, wouldn't they?

Absolutely. I'm certainly an SEC homer but the USC job is better than any job in the SEC with the exception of Bama and maybe LSU and Florida.

USC is in the argument of best jobs in college football. Best program and among the most historically successful. A and M is not in these arguments. Also this is the perfect time to be USCs coach because he would be given time to succeed. If Johnny football leaves a and m might struggle.

They are definitely going to struggle next year. However, Sumlin is a madman at recruiting, so they'll definitely be playing at a high level again pretty soon.

this is true. It's prestigious and you've got lots of resources, but Bama fans are probably the closest thing you'll see to a cult in the sports world. I think Saban is pretty sick of them.
