[expletive] Ohio going to the BCS title game. Just because all arch rivals of my teams have to achieve success. Now I have to cheer for [expletive] MSU.

We'll welcome you onto the FSU bandwagon.

If Auburn wins the SEC Title Game, there's no doubt they should be ahead of Ohio State.

I don't. If not for a miraculous 4th and 18 tipped-pass TD, they have 2 losses right now.

Bingo

i know right and if some other stuff that didnt happen had happened who knows they could have lost all their games this year

Come on, the play was a total fluke

So what, Meph? They didn't lose. I mean, I don't really care I guess, but I just think it's funny that the no. 4 team can beat the No. 1 team in the nation and 30 minutes later people are like THE WIN DOESN'T REALLY COUNT BECAUSE OF STUFF.

Nobody, anywhere has said today's win didn't count.

But they did lose, to an LSU team that isn't very good.

But instead, Meph, you're saying that THAT LOSS DOESN'T REALLY COUNT BECAUSE THEY HAD TO PLAY BOTH MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS WHO WOULD PROBABLY WIN EVERY OTHER CONFERENCE IN EXISTENCE

Uh that's not what I said at all?

Auburn lost to lsu, but they beat ALABAMA except no they didn't because they had a 4th and 18 they converted, negating the win.

All I know is I hope the voters hold that clutch 4th down they converted in a win over the no. 1 team in the nation against them

What idiot on facebook are you arguing with on this thread? Because nobody said that here. It would be an especially odd thing to say considering that 4th and 18 took place in a different game. Are you drunk?

And you're responding to a a string talking about how Auburn deserves the spot over OSU. What are you saying, Meph?

I'm not really torn one way or the other over OSU or Auburn, I just thought it was hysterical watching people go "yeah auburn won but really they lost because that play was LUCKY." Same dumb [expletive] meph used to argue to debate the merits of 8-5 Florida being the best team in the nation.

No way should they vote auburn ahead of OSU. OSU should have a chance to beat MSU to get into the title game. I hate OSU but you have to put the undefeated big 10 team into the game over the 1 loss SEC team whether its mizzou or auburn. Can't wait to see the lines come out for that game. OSU is gonna be a 7.5 point favorite I bet, and auburn laying a field goal. That's my guess but I really don't have a clue.

Think Paul Walker is playing tricks with your mind.

I think the last yr of the BCS may be one of the best examples of how flawed the system is. I feel pretty comfortable saying that FSU and Alabama are the best 2 teams. But that happening at this point is all but impossible. What I find really strange is that voters regularly vote a team that losses to another team with similar records lower. But they will never do it in a circumstance like what happened yesterday.

BTW, If MSU beats OSU next week I think MSU deserves to go to the Championship game just as much as Auburn. I do not think there is any great argument against that last statement using the current crappy system

I think NIU should be in the title game

Because seeing FSU blow them out in a BCS bowl once wasn't enough.

Define best 2 teams.

I have no idea how you'd argue MSU deserves the spot as much as Auburn. MSU's one loss would be to a worse team, and Auburn's win over Bama would be better than MSU's win over OSU. Auburn would have also played more than 1 ranked team all season.

Not sure about that. ND played the role that MSU sometimes plays against us. Close loss and then ND goes on to have a meh season with a really stupid loss (Pitt). So losing to ND looks pretty bad.

And Auburn will have beaten the 2-time defending champ and a 10-win Missouri team. The middle of the SEC is pretty weak this year, but almost the entire big ten sucks. OSU is undefeated and barely snuck by a 5-loss Michigan team. So beating them doesn't jump MSU up. What's MSU's best win to date?

I don't think MSU deserves to go to the championship game btw. I am just saying that I do not think Auburn is deserving either. Why is LSU better than ND? Without looking it up I would think that ND has more quality wins. MSU lost to ND when they were still dicking around with Maxwell at QB. Auburn should have lost to a not very good Georgia team. MSU really had no other game that they were close to losing. I know they have not blown teams out but they have usually won handily in games that they were really dominating at the end. And honestly I do not think Auburn is a better team then MSU. I know that may be a homer statement, but I think I am usually rational about this kind of stuff. I think MSU biggest downfall is they played the 3 worst teams in the other B1G division. If they played Wisky or OSU, they could have won and would look a lot better at this point. If they lost, they still would be in almost the exact spot they are right now except a few notches lower in the polls

Like I said in my previous post, if it was my vote Alabama would still be number 2. I think MSU/OSU is going to be a great game and I like MSU's chances. If Auburn/Missouri winner plays FSU, I think FSU wins convincingly. If FSU plays OSU, FSU wins convincingly. If FSU plays Alabama...good game that I think favors FSU at this point.

Stunning news: Urban Meyer won't suspend his two ejected players from yesterday for an important game

The lineman that came off the sideline, threw a punch, threw his helmet, and threw two middle fingers should be suspended by the B1G. No excuse for not doing that.

Bama may well be the second best team (or even the first). But they (Saban) screwed up. Someone else has to get a chance. It's going to be OSU or the winner of the SEC title. Hard to argue that another team deserves a shot more than any of those 3 (though OSU's schedule is putrid).

But MSU doesn't have an argument. In addition to having a bad loss to a mediocre ND team, they have no quality wins. (Jesus, is ND the best team MSU played? I think they might be.) They beat a handful of 8-win teams that feasted on crap teams to get those wins (look at the schedules for Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota and find a single quality victory). And they played 5 absolutely brutally bad teams. Western Michigan and USF have 3 wins between them. Purdue had just 1 win. Illinois got all the way to 4, but the only game they won in conference was against Purdue. Then they played Missouri Valley Conference 3rd place finisher, Youngstown State.

Sorry, you play that [expletive] schedule and you have to win all your games. You don't get to complain about being left out for having "only" 1 loss.
