IU is probably finishing this season with a .500 or worse record. 15-12. Remaining schedule of home vs. Iowa, Ohio St, and Nebraska, and @ Michigan. Even if they manage to win 1 of those home games, at most it will only be 1, meaning 16-15 regular season and then there will be a likely 1-and done B1G tourney.

Maybe my expectations were too high. I know they lost 4 1,000 point scorers, but they returned a guy who would also get to 1,000 points, a McDonald's All American PG, who is among the conferences leading scorers, and had a top 5-10 recruiting class, that includes a lottery pick and possible top 7 pick. I knew shooting would be bad, but it hasn't been completely debilitating. I guess I expected better, maybe its just me though.

I can't imagine anyone expected this team to be on the bubble for the NIT. Maybe the NCAA bubble, sure. I thought they would be .500ish in the conference and win around 20 games with a 8/9 type of NCAA seed. At worst maybe 18 wins needing a little B1G tourney run.

The roster is simply poorly constructed. Losing our outside shooting has cost us the ability to spread the defense out and keep it honest which would free up more success for driving the basket and feeding Noah in the post. Also the 2012 class outside of Yogi has been quite frankly very disappointing. I was expecting Hollowell to improve but he has regressed. Peter is useless. Hanner is still so raw. No Patterson. The 2013 class looks more promising but if Noah leaves then that hurts for next season. If he returns I think we could bounce back but overall I just don't feel real strongly about next season being the kind of rebound season the fan base will expect after a season this rough.

Absolutely insane that IUs last 5 games are @ Wisc, vs. Iowa, vs. Ohio State, @ Nebraska, @ Michigan. I know the Iowa game is rescheduled but still.

They host Nebraska. Already customarily blew a double-digit lead in Lincoln.

I think they will find a way to beat Nebraska end up 6-12. Maybe even beat Iowa or Ohio State for 7-11 (the customary out-of-nowhere random inspired performance). Then probably lose on Thursday in the Big Ten tourney.

The Big Dog's son coming into Purdue, with Glenn Robinson Sr watching, hits the game winning shot as time expires. Awesome.

I want my team to hit a buzzer beater. That looks fun.

it does and it is....

Good win, now just beat Iowa and MSU on the road and Michigan at home, and they're right back in the bubble talk.

At least it gives us something to look forward to. Hill and Nunn look like future All BIG material.

I find B1G bb to be very weird this year.

Very weird.

That's what happens when there are no bad teams in conference and no dominant teams in conference. Thanks to MSU's injuries and Northwestern's suddenly figuring out how to play at the start of conference, no team has a game on the schedule they can't win or lose.

I am very excited for those two to make the sophomore jump. I am also very excited to see Black next year.

I think they do have up to 5 teams that could make a deep run in the tourney. Looking at the current top 10 I am not sure that there are any teams in there that would be doing better than Mich in the B1G. I guess if Syracuse is going to win all of their games at the buzzer they would be a 2 loss team.

Love that Hill knows how to get to the FT line.

And makes free throws once there. He's a refreshing change of pace.
