Yeah. Or it also sort of reminds me of the 2009 British Open when people were openly rooting against Tom Watson because it would have been "embarrassing" to the sport if a 60 year old could win a major. Maybe someone doesn't want a 14 year old doing too well.

Chamblee and Faldo are going crazy saying Tiger should DQ himself. The best rule change golf has made is eliminating the rule where you sign an incorrect scorecard and get DQ'ed.

 

Tiger has been assessed a penalty. Tough break. But I think he can still win. And I know he doesn't feel the slightest bit guilty about it. I think it'll make him play better.

Tiger took a bad drop, rules people deemed it okay at first, then his press conference words indicated it was done wrong. So they rereviewed and decided on 2-stroke penalty. Lots of people want him to dq himself
