I love that Galifinakas went to NC State. Also love that Hefner love that Hef got a double major degree in 2.5 years at Illinois as much as u guys tease about oladipo.

Single major, double minor. But the point remains-big ten educations are worthless.

Every time I fill out a bracket, things spiral out of control. I have Michigan State beating Michigan in the championship game after getting by New Mexico and Syracuse.

Needs more B1G.

I have 5 BIG teams in the sweet 16 (Indiana, Wisconsin, MSU, OSU, Michigan) and 2 in the elite 8 (Indiana, MSU) and none in the final 4 (I have Louisville, Florida, Miami, and New Mexico with Louisville beating Florida in the championship). I have all the BIG teams winning in the first round though.

Interesting maps representing tourney teams' fan bases based on fb data. LOTS of UNC fans out there.

So most of Missouri isn't supporting Mizzou? Only like 2 or 3 counties in MO are for SEC.

That looks like it's probably old data being used from when Mizzou was in the Big 12. Either that or whoever put that together doesn't know they're in the SEC now.

I created my ESPN entry, entitled "Go B1G or Go Home". If 7 B1G teams make the Elite 8, I'm going to win.

I'm starting to doubt SLU's chances against New Mexico State. If there's a 4-13 upset to be had, that seems like the one. However, I think they could probably beat Oklahoma State/Oregon and hang around with Louisville.

The Wall Street Journal's Blind Bracket is back. Apparently I really like Davidson and Arizona- both to Sweet 16.

IU, Duke, Florida and Gonzaga in Final 4. IU over Duke for the title. Only real upset I had was Ohio St losing in the first round. Other than that most high seeds did very well in my bracket.

That's a very strange article. He is hardly beloved among IU fans. From what I've seen, the majority of IU fans respect his coaching quite a bit and are very glad to have him, but that's about it for Crean. Maybe that changes if he stays another 10 years, but right now I can't think of a single part of his style that is celebrated among IU fans. His energy on the sideline is accepted, his postgame handshakes are shrugged off, his tendency to keep recruiting is met with a mix of excitement and trepidation. His success in recruiting is rarely questioned, but his in game coaching is questioned constantly. If he left tomorrow, people would be concerned about being able to get another coach that can do as much as Crean has done for Indiana, but other than that they would have no special type of affection for him like loved coaches tend to have (for example, the portion of the fanbase that were that way with Knight).

I'm starting to think a lot of this is well crafted on Crean's part. Bringing back the program but also bringing back the edge that the Hoosiers had on the sidelines with Bob Knight in their heyday. I'm pretty sure he uses that approach in recruiting too. Seems like fans and opposing coaches hate him a lot more that he has a good team and seems like that's what he I'd going for.

So I do not follow CBB that much. So obviously I am not that in tune with non power conference schools. Trying to do my bracket I have come to this obvious question...why is the Mountain West getting so much love? I just do not see anything great on any of these teams resumes.

Boy I am not sold on tOSU as NC caliber team.

Great defense, but only one consistent scorer. You need to score in the tournament

I have a rematch of that brutal OSU-Wisconsin game in the Elite Eight and losing to Louisville in what will be a brutal Final Four. Maybe I'm overrating them because of the way they locked Indiana up on Jordan Hulls Night, but that defense looks overpowering.

You may end up being right, but I would be VERY surprised if this happens. I have SLU in a blowout.
