Can I be Jack's complete lack of surprise and sense of apathy at the same time?

Brewer fans are already coming up with an explanation.

Braun's statement. Claims he hired Bosch last year as a consultant for his defense against his positive test and his lawyers owe him the 20k+ for his "consulting."

That should be pretty easy to prove/disprove real quick. If it's true they should be able to provide whatever documents/interviews(audio or visual)/phone records/etc. he gave Braun/his lawyers for the defense

Whatever you say, Ryan.......

And Brewer fans are eating it up. Just like they interpreted his "exoneration" as him actually being innocent.

Smoke is pouring from the building but they won't admit there is a fire.

From the ESPN article:

According to the Yahoo! Sports report, Braun's name also appeared directly above a line that reads, "RB 20-30K." Bosch listed amounts of money owed next to the names of other players, according to the report.

But Braun asserted in his statement the "moneys owed" to Bosch were merely compensation for his consultation during the appeal process.

"There was a dispute over compensation for Bosch's work, which is why my lawyer and I are listed under 'moneys owed' and not on any other list," Braun's statement said. "I have nothing to hide and have never had any other relationship with Bosch.

Considering that Braun's lead attorney "found Bosch's value to be negligible" to their case, 30K in consulting fees seems steep.

The list is full of University of Miami former players, one of which is Braun, and their assistant coach. Combine that with paying a guy 20-30K who has no medical degree for his expert consultation. The evidence is becoming overwhelming.

"Known red-assed and disingenuous liar and cheater and press conference screamer/douchebag caught cheating and lying and being a general grumpy turd, projecting his own inadequacies onto the media and people who know he's a cheating cheater liar."

From Law's chat. Please no Cubs (ie Rizzo/Castro/Samardzija) .

Klaw(1:19 PM)

Also, I said this on the podcast this morning - there are more names to come from this Bosch scandal. I've heard one more that would be pretty significant.

He did say the other names he's heard are "all with Miami connections, geographic connections or school connections".

Not that it excludes the possibility of a Cub being linked to Biogenesis/Bosch, but 5 of the 12 players named so far have been ACES clients. I believe the only Cub represented by ACES is DeJesus.

They also have heavy Florida/Miami ties.

I'll guess Hanley

MIggy

Miggys in terrible shape, I'd be shocked if it was him.

he cycled off incorrectly
