Sean Jensen tweeted that Antoine Winfield has interest in the Bears. Not sure how they'd make the finances work but that would be an incredible trio of corners.

 

Yeah, it absolutely would be, but I just don't see why we'd spend our limited cap space on another old corner, when there's other areas of need.

Little surprised if Urlacher leaves, but I can certainly see where there could be a gap between us and him on money. At any rate, we're an hour away and no cuts or restructures.......Either [expletive] is about to get crazy or we're not doing much in FA. I'm still thinking the former.

Well, the LT available targets aren't ideal, so there's a real danger of overpaying for mediocre performance here. I'm not going to be thrilled if we have to back up the truck for a league-average LT, and it hurts the rest of our offseason.

I would be happy with that. He is a damn good blocking TE that showed his receiving abilities in NY this season. Something that was missing in Dallas. Plus the dude is nuts. He is a great interview.
