I don't know if anyone values Walterfootball's evaluations, but here ya go:

20. Kyle Long, G, Oregon: D Grade

Well... at least this fills... a need... Umm... I'm kind of speechless right now. With Tyler Eifert and stud defenders like Desmond Trufant and Sylvester Williams available, the Bears decided to take an inexperienced second-round guard. Long may have been around for Chicago's next selection, so this pick is extremely questionable.

50. Jon Bostic, ILB, Florida: B Grade

The Bears hope they've landed their successor for Brian Urlacher. Middle linebacker was a big need, and Jon Bostic is definitely worthy of being chosen 50th overall. I would have gone with Arthur Brown, but there must be major medical concerns with him because he has first-round talent.

117. Khaseem Greene, OLB, Rutgers: A Grade

Khaseem Greene was viewed as a second-round talent by many, but it's not too surprising to see him fall a bit because he doesn't fit many defenses. The Bears don't mind though, as they fill a need with a good value selection. s

163. Jordan Mills, OT, Louisiana Tech: B Grade

So, I guess the Bears wanted to focus on the offensive line and linebacker groups in the draft. Jordan Mills is a right tackle who should be able to challenge J'Marcus Webb. He fits the range, so this is a solid pick.

188. Cornelius Washington, DE, Georgia: A+ Grade

I don't understand why Cornelius Washington fell to the middle of the sixth round. Washington is a Day 2 talent. He is raw, but that's fine because the Bears won't really need him until Julius Peppers moves on.

No idea who this is, but I hope he's right.

I'm really not sure on my opinion of the guy...but he spends all year on this stuff...so he knows more than me.

Nice. A little surprising, but I know he likes Long (buddies with Howie). To me, this looks like a draft that could really pay dividends in 2014. Long may get some spot duty and short yardage TE stuff. Bostic should start. Greene, I can't see starting. Obviously, no chance Mills starts but he's a good looking prospect. Washington is a wildcard though, and could really help out in pass rush as a rookie and eventually help ease the loss of Peppers. There's a lot of potential there, and he should have no problem bulking up to 275 ish. Great frame, super long arms.

We actually took a guy with possibly MORE character issues than Rogers. Fast as hell though. Toothpick. Like it a lot though. Hopefully Marshall can be a good influence on him.

Marquess Wilson is a solid pick. Thought he would run faster than he did, but he's a big guy that can really move. Looked like a 2nd day pick at times. Got kicked off the Washington st. team and claimed abuse by the coaching staff. If his head is on right, could help out.

By "big" I mean tall. He's skinny as [expletive].

blech, some throwaway practice squad receiver.

I disagree. He basically averaged 100 yards a game in the Pac-12. Just quit on his team. Runs mid-4.4's.

Forgot about this guy. Pretty solid pick, and the nice thing is he shouldn't have a problem making the team considering there is almost nothing after Bennett at 3.

All in all this draft left a lot to be desired, but wasn't a total disaster. And I'll say as of right now I like it more than last year's.

No way he has more character issues than Rogers. There's a reason Leach has a bad rep.

Wilson would have been a 3rd rounder w/o getting kicked out. He was even mocked in the first round preseason. This is a great pick, not a throwaway.

Emery loves to draft guys who haven't actually played much college football.

Except that doesn't apply to anyone other than Kyle Long in this draft. Every other pick has started at least 25 games for his college team.

Yeah, only the measly first rounder And the guy who was kicked off this season and the guy last year who missed the entire season.

Are we starting this again? Did u say "guys who haven't played much college football" or did you say "guys who haven't played much college football or missed time recently".....which FYI, Wilson missed 3 games. Started every other game from the day he stepped on campus, IIRC. This is a [expletive] 7th round pick. If he even makes the team, it's a great pick. If he doesn't it's like 98% of the other final round picks in the history of the NFL draft.
