This isn't going to hurt his draft status will it, at least not as much as the national championship game did right?

he's bonkers, i think that hurts his draft status.

I imagine it will unless he does a heck of a job making up for this in the next few months.

lmao this AD is referring to a fake documentary to explain how manti is actually a victim

i think the name of the movie is the catfish or the catfish hunter, i'm not sure. something about a catfish?

They shoulda called him at the beginning:

I mostly think Te'o is telling the truth, but after he found out that she wasn't who he thought she was, why didn't Manti just say that they broke up? What month did Manti realize it was all fake?

I don't know if Manti knew about this, but I think it's clear ND didn't. Swarbrick wouldn't be going on the offensive on this otherwise.

Just so we can see these words in order.

Te'o claimed he had a girlfriend.

He never met her, but he had a somewhat elaborate story to claim he did.

He never spoke to her, but had a somewhat elaborate story to claim he had on many occasions.

He was under the impression she got into a serious car crash, got cancer, and then died, but never physically went to assist her, be with her, or grieve her.

The twitter account he interacted with "her" is tied to a man people call a friend of Te'o's family, who interacts with Te'o on Twitter and apparently had USC/ND tickets because of that relationship.

Te'o has spoken very publicly about his girlfriend, her problems, and her death, but claims his embarrassment that his relationship with her was online is the reason he didn't divulge the extent of their relationship.

In spite of all these things, Te'o wants us to believe that he is 0% complicit with what happened and that he's been victimized by someone/someones who were not once quoted in an article blowing the lid on the whole ordeal.
