Packers lost this game for two reason. One, they played a horrible second half. Two, the officials made at least two and I say three bad and game-changing calls. They still outplayed the Colts. Just like they outplayed the Seahawks.

Good story bro.

Yeah, dang NFL is out to get Green Bay. Wah wah. The tears are delicious though. :good:

Didn't say they were out to get them. Just that they've been on the short end. In general, football is a sport that can be greatly affected by the officials. i.e. Questionable PI on third down, or one that gives a team a huge gain. Roughing the passer on interceptions, unnecessary roughness on fumbles. I do not believe the NFL is out to get the Packers. In the heat of the moment I called it a sham. I do believe that the officials are much bigger than people are willing to admit and it has cost the Packers two games and nearly cost them last week's game as well.

Packer fans are the worst. They get calls their way all of the time, but if it ever goes against them, it is the end of the world. Yes we all agree that the Seattle call was a bad one. But they act like it is the only and worst bad call in sports history. There were other bad calls that helped the packers that game as well. Funny that you guys watch the games and see how much they get screwed. When I watch, I see how many bad calls they get in their favor as well. How about today when Wayne got tackled in the endzone as the ball was coming to him? How about the 4th and inches play where multiple packers had their helmets in the indy backfield before the ball was snapped? Point is, there are bad calls every game... packer fans are the only ones that make shirts out of it.

That's because the Packers would never lose if not for those bad calls.

Honestly, if the Packers were half as good as their fans think (and I thought) they were, the Seattle and Indianapolis games wouldn't have been close. Certainly not close enough for a bad call or two to decide the games.

All I hear is crying and excuses. If the Packers really deserved to win those games they would have made it a decisive victory. If the Packers aren't good enough to decisively beat Seattle and Indy then that says a lot about them.

Just grab some tissues and rewatch the game. There were bad calls to both sides like every other game. The Packers couldn't stop a nosebleed and decided to play like garbage in the second half. That is why they lost.

Every team is going to get bad calls go their way. The last few weeks the Packers have had many points worth of calls go against them. When it happens on a point or possession changing call it's a big deal. I don't know if I can count on two hands how many times it has happened against the Packers in the last three games.

When it's three weeks in a row, it gets really old. CubColtPacer agreed that two of the calls I had problems with were legitimate beefs. I wouldn't expect Bears fans to agree with me anyway.

Very true. And look the Bears are playing like crap against Jacksonville right now. If they allow this game to come down to the final quarter and the refs happen to blow a call or two, I'm not going to blame it on the refs. I'd blame it on the Bears for playing crap football and keeping Jville in the game.

No crying here. If you think I'm not pissed at the Packer then you're wrong. They're nowhere near as good this season. They should still be 4-1. You'd be saying the same thing for your team.

The 3 really bad calls you are talking about weren't that bad. The packer defender did trap the ball on the interception. The roughing call on Luck's fumble may have been a bad call, but it is really hard to blame the ref on that one. In fast time, and even the first few replays looked really bad--like he is going to get fined bad. Yeah, eventually we saw that his helmet never directly hit lucks helmet, but it was close. There have been many, many worse roughing calls made in the past. I don't remember the pass interference call ( I probably missed that one as I was switching between games a bit). But once again, there are bad pass interference calls every single game... including as I mentioned earlier the one not called against Woodson in the endzone on wayne. That would have been an easy touchdown, or a first down at the 1 if they called it. Instead, Indy settled for a field goal.

It's a culmination of the three weeks. Fuse is pretty short at this point. Add the Cardinals in the postseason and scoring 8 runs on 7 hits overall. I don't think I even have a fuse at the moment.

Time to start thinking about how nice it'll be to see Jarvis Jones in Titan blue next season, because that's the way Tennessee's season is headed.

Or we could go with Justin Hunter and just have a ridiculous WR corps for Locker - Britt/Wright/Hunter/Cook.

I understand. I hate bad officiating. I really hate it in sport like baseball where robot umps/replay could get everything right and they don't want to use it. My wife doesn't understand how Illinois basketball hasn't gotten one call in their favor in years... but I have to explain to her that its true. Its just that the calls against the packers the past few weeks happen. They get their share as well... it just so happened that the worst one happened on a game ending play. I would have been pissed, but I wouldn't have blamed todays game on bad calls.

LMAO, for the second week in a row, Rivera doesnt attempt to run the ball on 4th and 1 despite having the best rushing QB in the league, and 2 RBs making a zillion dollars combined and it fails.

He's a terrible coach. I'd bet on him being gone by the end of next season.

I'm starting to believe one of the major issues with the Packers is coaching. I've never been a huge McCarthy fan, and had it not been for Rodgers going on a yearlong hot streak his record is pretty unimpressive. Unfortunately, he's not getting let go, but perhaps after this season, Capers can hit the bricks.
