The Vikings could have been in the Rams position if they had lost to the [expletive] Redskins. Peterson and Ponder even got knocked out and we still won. [expletive].

so wait, st louis gets the no. 6 this year, an extra 2nd rounder, and first rounders the next two years? TO DROP 4 SLOTS? jesus christ.

they stuck it in real good

To top it all off, they still may get Blackmon, too. Such a good trade for the Rams.

I don't know if the Rams want Blackmon. I think they may actually go after Reiff or Claiborne if he gets past Tampa. I think they are going to spend money on a WR in free agency.

Let's all feel bad for the Vikings... ok, I'm done.

I like RG3 and all, but this was a really, really bad trade by Washington.

A simply amazing development in an extremely bad way.

i guess it just depends on whether he is a franchise QB. if he is, that's worth paying a really heavy price. but he has to be great to make this trade worth it.

He pretty much has to be an elite type of QB for this to make sense. And the problem I have with this trade is that RG3's chances of that just aren't high enough. He's a really terrific talent, but he's still not the type of sure thing Luck is or Peyton was.

He's definitely Mark Sanchez material, though, and that guy is paid like one of the elite QBs in football.

Either way you cut it, it was a horrible trade. The skins should have just went full rebuild mode and keep the picks. They have no skill position players to help RG3 and now they're going to horrifically overpay for a mediocre skill player.

Actually, I really like RG3 in Shanahan's offense and I think he can thrive in it. I do doubt their ability to put a good team around him after giving up this many quality picks, though.

This type of trade would have worked great for the Dolphins imo. They've got good wideouts, two good RBs in the backfield and Long at LT.

Do the Skins even have a decent OL?

McNabb thinks Washington will fail with RGIII.

He bases this on the theory that Washington wasn't able to tailor their offense around his skills, and that Shanahan has lost more than he's won with every QB since Elway (but doesn't include himself on the list).

So much hilarity. I always kind of liked Donovan, but he's really shown himself to be quite the tool since leaving Philly, imo.

McNabb had no skills left by the time he got to Washington. Sounds like a bitter whiner to me.

He was unfairly slaughtered in Philly and has done nothing since to prove his doubters wrong.

man, i was wondering what happened to vontaze burfict. HE RAN A 5.10????

Eek, seriously? Where's he projected to go now ?.

CFL. Don't think anyone will draft a nutcase that can't run before the 7th round.
