That is a big fat pile of humiliation. Even da Bum is ashamed for Sullivan.

 

This is all on the Tribune, in my humble opinion.

 

So, even the Williston Daily Herald is shamed for the Trib.

 

It's on the front page of the sports section. Incredible.

That's awesome. That guy would be laughed at if he brought that up on a message board, but somehow its a front page story for a major news publication. The Trib is awesome.

don't blame sullivan, guys, he's just a reporter. i blame the man in the purple tshirt for this kerfuffle.

 

I like how Sullivan thought it important to note that the witness was wearing a purple t-shirt, like that had anything to do with anything.

Laugh all you want. Purple t-shirt guy and his deductive google-fu skills have given me hope. "No, I get that a lot. Who is Theo Epstein?" Slam dunk evidence.

 

An inside source familiar with the dealings of purple t-shirt guy, but who wishes to remain anonymous due to the sensitivity of the situation, has told me that Pujols (or his doppelganger) was later spotted in the back seat of the same Honda SUV. This actually makes plenty of sense, considering that Chicago is on the way from St Louis to Milwaukee, where Pujols is due to be the next day for the start of the NLCS.

 

Sullivan tweeted this morning that he was looking into the Pujols angle, but needed additional details in order to verify the story's credibility. Google searches of what his wife look like have yielded mixed results, and people at the scene seem to be in disagreement over the color of this second eyewitness's t-shirt.

 

As soon as I hear anything more, I'll probably just post it here rather than pulling up Paul Sullivan on AIM.

That reads like when I would BS a paper the night before it was due in high school.

 

It reminded me of the time I wrote a five page paper for Creative Writing about how I couldn't find a topic for my paper.

I'm going to believe the conspiracy theory that it was Theo. If it wasn't him, it was just some regular guy, he would have come forward by now. ILL BELIEVE WHAT I WANT TO BELIEVE.

I can tell you, it was most definitely Theo, and if you use this link, this is the blond woman he was with...
