Keep some perspective here. MLB Draft is extremely difficult to predict future success. Having said that, I hope the Cubs at least take someone people have heard of this year.

I'm worried. The elite guys are off the board and this is a deep draft. We might get another Colvin-type pick here.

This should be the last year the draft won't have slots. A player like Archie would have to move UP in the draft several slots to make more than he could this year (even without going Boras-style nuts).
