what on earth are you talking about? if smart doesn't leave vcu then there's plenty of interested candidates that would work just fine. the best part about this is that there are about 3 guys that i would be orgasmic with getting, and are realistic choices. there are 3 others that would be excellent as well.

 

i am now sold on grant, he's a hell of a consolation prize. he and williams are plans 1b and c.

 

mack, marshall, and groce are the next tier but hot commodities nonetheless, bill self-like commodities.

 

everything will be ok, even if we don't get shaka.

Stepping away from the Shaka Smart talk for a moment, it looks like Iowa and Iowa State playing continual home and home's with Drake and UNI might change. It seems the idea of a Big 4 "tourney" in Des Moines might be taking hold.
