Hummel only the 12th player to ever be first team B1G three times. 7 of the 12 are Purdue players.

Draymond is POY, Izzo COY

1st Team

Hummel

Shurna

Sullinger

Taylor

Green

Zeller / Burke on the 2nd team Meyers is an honorable mention

Everyone's favorite DJ Byrd was 6th Man of the Year...

edit: oh and I missed Paul making the 3rd team...

if Beilein doesn't get COY for winning the conference without a single top-25 recruiting class then he never will; i must add, good of Izzo to get 6 PPG out of a 5-star like Adreian Payne

We suck at morning games. We'll probably lose.

Iowa is 0-6 in BTT games not coached by Alford.

Maybe he should have pretended the Big Ten regular season was one big tournament.

So is VCU going to steal a bid or will Drexel be out if the lose this game?

I think VCU was going to make it anyway. Without saying so, the committee has proven what it wants to do: take teams like VCU (VCU) instead of teams like Northwestern (Colorado). Now insert "Drexel" for "VCU."

How wretched is the Pac-12? The Pac-12 1st team is brutal: Allen Crabbe, Jared Cunningham, Kyle Fogg, Jorge Gutierrez, Solomon Hill, Devoe Joseph, Brock Motum, Andre Roberson, Terrence Ross, Tony Wroten.

Why does the 1st team have 10 guys on it? And could those 10 guys beat the top five from any other conference?

Has Randy Bennett's name been mentioned at all with Illinois? I think I've read in the past that he would lean toward staying on the west coast but if not he should be at the top of their list.

Championship week [expletive] rules.

Doesn't the Big East have like 17 guys on their 1st team?

They did have some absurd number at one point, but now they have 6.

B12 coaches picked Hoiberg and Self as co-coaches of the year. It makes a ton of sense to give it to Self, who took a team that was picked to finish first in the conference and got five first-place votes in the preseason...to a conference championship.

The butt hurt emanating from this conference is delicious.

the only one who sounds "butt hurt" is you.

But you're right. Hoiberg deserved it.

Arguing about something as trivial as conference coach of the year as picked by the coaches is kinda silly. Of course, the conference coaches could look a little silly too if Haith wins Big 12 COY from the AP and National COY but isn't one of two guys picked by his own conference. It's not like there's a conspiracy though, 4 guys made it on the 1st-3rd teams, and a 5th was 6th man of the year and on the all-defensive team.

Here's a fun montage of Austin Rivers traveling.

Holy hell that's awful.

not as egregious as the Scheyer clip (or guys taking 4 steps on a drive to the hoop).

Well, he did, so we're halfway there.

Also, this is about Self.

Yeah, but what's that figure when you add in the women's programs? You have to take the women's program into consideration for trivia like this.
