You know what else? He was never a true PG like Korie Lucious is.

 

Funny how even MSU fans call him a true PG. The only reason why he didn't play much PG there is because of this kid named Kalin Lucas. You've might of heard of him before.

 

He's such a true PG, his TO Rate was higher than his assist rate 2/3 years at MSU. And he only takes 23 shots per game while shooting 34%. That right there is a true PG ladies and gentlemen.

 

you must not be aware of this, but iowa lost to northwestern at home yesterday and iowa state beat a top 10 team. a little odd for an iowa fan to be talking [expletive] to an iowa state fan at this point.

Win that game yesterday and we'd be playing Minnesota at 4:30 then with a win would get Michigan at 5:30 on Friday. A win over Minnesota would have probably clinched an NIT bid. And more importantly, Northwestern would have needed to do damage to get to the tournament.

 

Now we play Illinois at 10:30 in the [expletive] morning and if we win, have to play MSU at 11 on Friday. Probably hoping for a CBI bid at this point.

I'm pissed we drew Iowa, because I want this season to be over and there are 10 other teams in the conference I could tolerate losing to. But not the Hawkeyes. If by some strange confluence of circumstances the Illini had won today I might have had to root for Iowa to beat us, which I'm fairly certain would make my head explode.

why is michigan state throwing it short? the only chance they have is to complete a long pass and get a make-able shot.

 

really, it's shocking to me that teams continue to throw the ball short instead of throwing it long and attempting to get a laettner-like look. a 3-quarter length runner is a lot less likely than completing a long pass to a ytall player and having him put it in from 15-20 feet.
