I really don't like the SEC chant, but in the case of using it as a middle finger to the Big 12, I can understand it.

 

On a related note, I saw this morning that Mizzou would be the first BCS school ever to win 30 games and not get a 1 seed. Should've scheduled more bad teams instead of really bad teams in the non-con I guess.

They're just caught up in a really top-heavy year of college basketball. There are going to likely be three other 30 game winners in the one-seed line, and then it's just arguing between Mizzou/Kansas/Ohio State/Michigan State as to who's the best option as the fourth #1.

That's certainly one interpretation of the events. Another might be that Mizzou was never given equal treatment in the Big 12, scapegoated when half the conference looked elsewhere, then repeatedly and publicly disparaged when they decided to leave. It's no surprise that there's hurt feelings.
