I get what you're saying, but the dude has the most accurate info out there on A&M mainly because he doesn't run with every rumor he hears. He'll confirm something as much as possible before saying anything definitive.

 

Two weeks ago I would have believed it on the spot. I don't distrust him, just the past two weeks of all the rumors. It was starting to feel like the Brian Roberts or Peavy threads.

Yeah, some of his speculations may not be right but unlike some of the other sites he won't announce anything definitive unless he is absolutely sure he is right. This wasn't an "I think A&M is going to notify the Big 12 today" thing, although he had hinted pretty strongly that we would hear the news today.

Rumor that texas wants to replace a&m with ND on thanksgiving. I suddenly have a real interest in a&m leaving. Hopefully ND could move Stanford around and end the season either at usc or at Texas. Solid.

Lots of UT and ND rumors been going on for a couple of weeks. Anything from trying to bring them in to the Big 12-2 (not going to happen but your more than welcome to bring your tv contract with you if you want to) to UT and ND working towards building a new conference that also highlights OU and BYU and others (will force ND to lose of a lot of their traditional matchups, but has some appeal), to scheduling a long term agreement to play one another. Either way I am all for it and it makes a lot of sense.

Rumors are exit fee's will be over $20 million for A&M to leave, in comparison Nebraska paid $9 million last year. Baylor is rumored to really wanting to stick it to them. I doubt it ever gets that high but expect it to be more than what Nebraska got out for.

Jordan Jefferson is about to be kicked off LSU'd team I think. Dude is in some big time trouble. Also, cops seized 49 pairs of sneakers from his apt. I don't think I've owned half that many shoes in my entire life.

[expletive] Baylor up their stupid asses. They should just be thankful that they got to ride along in the Big 12 for so long instead of being left out in the cold like SMU & TCU were. They should also probably start preparing for life in the Sun Belt Conference.

Yeah, any relationship ND can build with Texas is good. I'm thrilled they set up their 4-game series for later this decade, and if that Thanksgiving match-up could be worked, I'd be all for it.

Come to think of it, it's probably kind of hard for ND to pass up the chance to play Baylor, KU, ISU, and KSU in football on an annual basis. I think ND is coming.

What I've heard is that it should be less than a week.
