Good thing Brett eliminated the possibility of relocation.

Not eliminated but reduced.

only prolonged the inevitable

although MN does now have a pro-stadium Governor

You think so? I think the Metrodome bungle combined with Dayton will get something done. At least I hope so.

You know what will happen if they leave. Sometime in the next 5 years they'll get all nostalgic and lure the Jaguars or Bills or someone there and it will cost them more money.

he was pro-stadium while he was campaigning. The biggest issue for him was the huge lack of construction jobs in MN right now, and the stadium was a way to loosen that noose. It was tied in his proposal to other projects as well.

the sunken construction market in Minnesota is why I left.

Trivia: Who caught Joe Namath's last pass?

My prediction: Tonight will lead to a similar trivia for someone in this game.

suzy kolber?

Haha - hadn't thought of that, but I guess the similarities are deeper than I first considered!

Steve Young just accused Favre of popping painkillers tonight. Fantastic.

Adrian Peterson: "oooooh, leg tweak. Sorry coach can't go."

Favre: "bullcrap. it's blue. big deal. yeah, it pops out every once in awhile. so? I'm playing."

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Ditka with the gay jokes.

what did he say?

During the C'Mon Man segment, they showed a clip from the Colts/Jags game, where Donald Brown locked hands with someone as he was trying to make his way down the field. Ditka began to crack jokes accordingly.

Nothing too bad, though.

Hawkeye's devotion to a hired gun that has set back his franchise never fails to entertain.

I'm not devoted to him. I'll want Webb to start the next two games. First outdoor home game in my lifetime, throwback uniforms, snow bowl and a chance to maybe derail the Bears fan while pissing them off and most of the football loving world? [expletive] yeah. I'm pumped for this.

And he didn't set this franchise back. If it would have been Tarvaris/Sage the last two years we don't get as close as we did, there probably would have been blackouts and the team would have been more likely to move.

You realized most of th football loving world will not be pissed off about the Vikings, they will be pissed off because of the biggest douchebag in sports. In 10 years people will barely remember he one played for the Vikings

I don't know. He contributed to a legit shot at the Super Bowl. They just blew it, that's all.
