one more douche move in a career full of them. Hats off to you #4.

Yeah actually trying to play through an injury instead of sitting at home and collecting $3M for the last 3 games from his couch. What a douche move.

Having Joe Webb prepare as the starter all week as favre was declared out and then on the day of his life having him come out and push the Vikings to start him is a little douchey. I understand there are no guarantees in this business but I can't imagine how shitty Webb feels. Like someone said I hope he didn't fly his family out there for the game. I can't understand if the Vikings were still fighting for a playoff spot but they aren't.

Anyways this doesn't really change my opinion now that Peterson is out. If we win or lose it's likely not solely because of old man favre.

Favre playing and Petersen out is amazing. Webb better be ready to go...I don't think there's any way that Favre finishes the game.

I'm actually kind of encouraged that there really isn't much Bears focus tonight. I mean, they keep mentioning the Bears would win the division, but that's it...no mention of specific players...not mention of matchups or anything. It's all on the weather, and Favre.

Hopefully Brett gets absolutely creamed early and someone takes him off an NFL field for good. I still won't like the Bears, but I'll always like that player for doing that.

Hawkeye's devotion to a hired gun that has set back his franchise never fails to entertain.

He led them to the NFC title game last year!!

Let's not talk about how he threw that INT on what would have been their conference winning drive 5-10 yards from fg range.

I'm not devoted to him. I'll want Webb to start the next two games. First outdoor home game in my lifetime, throwback uniforms, snow bowl and a chance to maybe derail the Bears fan while pissing them off and most of the football loving world? [expletive] yeah. I'm pumped for this.

And he didn't set this franchise back. If it would have been Tarvaris/Sage the last two years we don't get as close as we did, there probably would have been blackouts and the team would have been more likely to move.

Anyone want to set an Over/Under on the # of Vikes' offensive plays before Favre is knocked out of the game? It was 3 plays in the Buffalo game, so opening line is at 3.5.

One more time so it's easier to find later when it comes true...

This guy here, Brett Favre is the best football player I've ever seen. Watch him step away from Julius Peppers, a Pro Bowler and fire a LAZER to Sidney Rice for a touchdown in the snow. I'm telling ya, I've seen a lot of great ones play...and NO ONE can sling the ball in there like ol' #4. Jaws, this man was ruled OUT of this game. Somehow he musters up the strength and courage to come out here and put on this performance when no one gave him a chance. The guy is superman.
