I'm pretty sure Hugh Green wanted to punch Cam when he said he would take his o-line against Hugh any day.

 

Think Mallett has moved back in front of him in my wish list for the Vikings. Enough with the Cammy Cam juice [expletive]

Yes, sir.

 

And actually, I should ease off Mallett. From the 2007 draft on, I have been wildly wrong about just about everybody apart from sure things like Calvin Johnson and Suh. For all I know he could be awesome.

He's a player that needs to go to the right team, which of course you can say for every player but it really applies to him.

Kentucky might be without QB Hartline:

 

ESPN[/url]"]Kentucky senior quarterback Mike Hartline, coming off the best season of his career, was arrested early Friday morning in Lexington and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, alcohol intoxication in a public place and failure to notify authorities of an address change.

 

A more serious charge, according to the police report, is that a woman told police that Hartline hit her, causing pain in her lower jaw. Officers didn't notice any visible injury and told the woman that she would need to press charges downtown if she wanted to take further action.

What's going on at Iowa? Wegher was granted his release last week, now Jewel Hampton made a "former Hawkeye" statement on his Facebook page that may or may not have been referring to himself. And there are lots of rumors about potential positive drug tests for other players. Other rumors include both Hampton and Adam Robinson being kicked off the team for refusing drug tests. McNutt's name is also being tossed around.

The Wegher thing was pretty much written a while ago but yeah it just became official last week.

 

My understanding is that the DJK arrest prompted Ferentz to order piss tests. Have heard that Ferentz forced mandatory tests for everyone and also heard that they just tested guys who had probable cause based on stuff found on DJK's computer. Not sure which is the case. Anyways, Hampton is done and it seems like Robinson is done also because of failed/refused tests and not being a first offense. There will be suspensions coming and maybe more dismissals.

 

McNutt could be involved but he's been practicing this weekend. Jewel wasn't at the banquet and Robinson hasn't been at practice in 4 days.
