It's surprising to me because he's a smart, clean cut kid who hasn't been in any trouble academically or legally. I mean the weed and even coke can happen with any college athlete without being surprising but the extent and fact that he was living with this dude is.

I couldn't disagree more. DJK is most definitely not smart or clean-cut (which should now be obvious). I'm honestly stunned he made it through nearly 4 full seasons without being dismissed from the team.

For a college football player he's articulate and polished with a lot of charisma. By clean cut I meant he's pretty self-aware and conscious of the image he puts forth to the public and has molded that himself a bit. He has an ego, is probably a bit phony, and has some laziness/attitude issues. Like I said there's no college athlete that I would be surprised at finding out smoked weed, did coke or took pills. Deciding to live with this dude is the surprising part. I'm guessing he thought he was invincible.

By the way it's 5 seasons. Not stunned because he never had a minor legal or academic issue.

Texas A&M's Von Miller wins the Butkus Award.

:clapping:

I didn't know Division II players were even eligible.

They're not. Texas A&M is in the Big 12, ranked in the top 20, and is playing LSU in the Cotton Bowl.

Best of luck to them in that tournament.

The red raiders' defense is bad for like 10 years and now one of their linebackers wins an award. Pretty cool.

Well this was the best team they have had in Abilene in over a decade.

I'm always willing to help teach the girls about sports so they don't feel so stupid.

I blame Mark Dantonio

He'd have another game in his career if he played for Mark Dantonio.

Well done.

MSU suspended 15 players for last years bowl game

Rucker missed two games(including one where he was not in jail) for his DUI this year...hate to let facts get in the way of your fun

hard to give the coach much credit for not playing a guy who was incarcerated.

Nick Fairley wins the Lombardi award. He really wasn't on anyone's radar coming into the season after being injured last year and has turned himself into a top 15 draft pick. he could potentially sneak into the top 5 if he's drafted by the Bills.

Dantonio reinstated Winston the same day he was released from 4 months in jail, as he did Rucker after spending 8 days in jail. Rucker played against Iowa just 2 days after being released.

Tennessee/North Carolina ought to be an interesting game. The Vols have been much better over the past month, though against inferior competition, while Butch Davis has proven again that he's a fantastic coach by getting his team to overachieve after losing some of their best players.

TCU has sold out their 20,000 ticket allotment for the Rose Bowl.

I wonder how many were bought by Badger fans.

I'm serious. If you joined the Frog Club (or something it's called) for $100, you're guaranteed 2 tickets to the game. So that's only $195 for ticket instead of $145 face. Better than most scalpers/re-sellers.

I've seen a couple people on the Badger boards claiming they did it and got ticket confirmation, since UW didn't have tickets go to the general public and the donors were limited in how many they could buy.
