I don't think I would. To me it gets into that whole "loveable loser" crap that drives me nuts.

Absolutely not, but it's more about the fact that I have no interest in any Cubs shirts that aren't just Cubs, or Chicago Cubs, or Chicago. They are almost universally ugly, just like this one.

wouldn't that shirt make more sense NEXT year because of the whole 3rd times a Charm thing? 102nd vs. 103rd....

Hey stranger

Nope. Main reason is the lovable losers comment already made but also I don't like buying shirts that are only good for that specific year and then become a show of how you need a new shirt. This is why I don't but the division winner shirts. I don't much care for division championships (just want to make playoffs) but as soon as you lose in the playoffs it serves as a reminder that we lost in the playoffs.

Shouldn't there be an apostrophe?

That was my question. It's a contraction of "Time is" so it should be "time's".

OTOH, without the apostrophe, at second glance it reads like the team has been charming for 102 years. Then it would be like wearing last year's shirt, like 2003 Divisional Champs... although I wouldn't wear that shirt either. Seems more jinxing than the one the topic is about.

Is this shirt even intended for wear by cubs fans? The design and sentiment of the garment smacks of the "Cork" shirts I so often see witty cards fans sporting.
