So if Indiana were in the NCAA tournament right now you would be cheering for them to win? And if you type "yes" you have to do so with a straight face.

At least DJ is showing a little something. He'll have to carry the team next year with Richmond likely gone.

 

That seems like a bit of an overreaction.

He was a jerk before he got to Illinois and, by all accounts, nothing has changed since then. I don't think they will kick him off the team, but I do think he will seriously consider transferring due to perceived unfair treatment by the coaching staff.

As long as you weren't playing Purdue. It's not easy, but I've been cheering for everyone else. Heck, even teams that have beat us the last few years.

I think KU played better (especially in the second half) than a lot of people here are giving them credit for. Illinois played very well defensively for the most part.

 

Say what you want to say about Weber, you gotta give him credit for sticking to his guns with Richmond. I don't know what he did to get this suspension, but I think he could've impacted the game.

I just find that a bit interesting since you have been one of the guys calling out Crean as a clown/joke/whatever this season. And that isn't to say I don't sometimes feel the same way about the guy because I do get frustrated with him at times but...okay.

 

I'm sorry but for me conference loyalty only goes so far. Purdue basketball and Ohio State football are pretty much two of those situations where I can't ever fathom cheering for those teams. Actually lately just Ohio State in general is bad enough that I can't pull for their basketball team either. Oddly I have never disliked Purdue football that much, probably because I grew up in the Keady/RMK era where those guys went at it and Purdue football at that time was never that much relevant. Obviously that changed under Tiller.

can't complain about all the exciting finishes, but man, there have been some dumb plays/bad officiating this tourney. texas would have never been in the position to get called for 5 seconds if that guy doesn't call a pointless timeout with 12 seconds left up 2 and no one really around him.

I'd also like to apologize to the Notre Dame fans in advance. I haven't picked their tourney runs anywhere close to correct the last few times they were in the bracket and I have them going to the Elite 8 this year so expect them to lose in the second round.

 

I know there's still 12 minutes to play but looks like I'll be horribly wrong about Notre Dame once again.

The announcers were just saying that FSU deserves all the credit and it's not like ND is playing a bad game or anything, FSU is just executing so well.

 

ND has 29 pts with 12 minutes left in the game. Sorry, but I don't think that can happen unless ND is playing a pretty bad game.
