if griffey could play at all he'd be in the rotation. and he knows that he won't play behind shaw and egwu.

I'm just not real comfortable with Bielfeldt being in the rotation next year. It's already asking a lot for Shaw and Egwu to be contributors from the word go.

Has Bielfeldt even committed yet?

No, but if he has an unconditional offer, I have no idea why he woudln't take it

K-State/Mizzou games are always nightmarish foulfests, which is why we don't have much chance of winning in Manhattan unless we make everything. I feel pretty comfortable that we're better than KSU, so as long as we don't screw around before then we'll probably win in the 4/5 game in the B12 tourney.

Which is also why the five seed may not be bad. Pick up a first round win then get kstate on a neutral court. I like it.

#5 Texas, #6 San Diego St., #10 Arizona (twice), #11 Georgetown (twice), #13 Florida, #14 UConn, #15 Villanova (twice), #18 Vanderbilt, #20 Missouri, #22 Kentucky, #24 Temple.

One of #4 Pitt/ #16 Louisville will lose tomorrow, and I think #8 Purdue will lose tomorrow.

It would be nice to see Duke lose tonight too.

Look for Mizzou to be the 6 seed now. I don't see CU losing either of the last 2 games. They may end up as the 4 with KSU as the 5.

Every game Mizzou plays is a foul fest. How is KSU any different than other games Mizzou plays on the road and can't win?

We won't suck. I'm expecting middle of the pack Big 12. A lot of the guys playing big minutes are freshmen and sophomores. They'll be competitive.

You generally are way off on your expecations. See the past two years.

This is all why ND needs to wake up and take care of Seton Hall in the 2nd half. There is ground to be made up in the NCAA seeding race.

This year's tournament is going to be crazy.

Because KSU commits more fouls than just about anyone, Mizzou included.

As are you and your expectations of Illinios. We lose Pullen and Kelly.. That's it. It is a lot, but there will be a LOT of experienced players on this team.

Mizzou's entire defense is based on clubbing the [expletive] out of people. They foul more than any team in america.

It wasn't an editorial statement(or even particularly negative toward KSU for that matter). Mizzou is 3rd in the Big 12 in fouls committed, KSU is 2nd

iowa winning the foul battle in champaign. home court advantage indeed.

Sure flipped in the second half. Those refs completely botched two over and back calls though. The one they got on McCamey was one of the worst calls you could see. I loved when the Illinois player fell out of bounds in front of the Iowa bench, threw the ball out of bounds, no one touched him and they called Basabe for a foul even though he just took an elbow and never made any bodily contact with the dude.

That was just a dumb game. Bryce gets a little bit of a pass because he was sick but he played no defense and was just dumb outside of a few really nice assists. Gatens can't make wide open 3's anymore. May does the exact same thing every time he gets the ball (dribble from the wing to the high post, pick up his dribble, turn his back to the hoop and pass it back out). Mel was terrible in the first half.

Kind of a bizarro game for Illinois, the seniors played really well and no one else seemed to do much of anything. Richmond was invisible.
