How about a round of applause for Caltech ending their 26 YEAR conference losing streak with a 1-point win over some school named Occidental yesterday?

I've got a real bad feeling about the Purdue/IU game tonight. This is their biggest game of the year. If they win, I pray they storm the court.

So I wonder if any stray elbows will find Barlow's jaw tonight? :P

 

I hear the student section is going to chant 'Banner Up' - jabbing at 'Boiler Up'. Which is amusing considering none of the players and most of the students at IU weren't alive the last time IU won a championship.

 

It's a huge game for me, half of my high school friends went to IU. Lots of [expletive] talking going to be going on tonight. Especially since I've rubbed the last few victories in. \:D/

I really don't know too many Purdue fans so there isn't much talking to be done. But I'm still pumped for the game even though I doubt IU will actually win it. This team is so erratic. I'd be thrilled to be wrong of course.

I damn well hope IU would storm the court if they won tonight. Purdue is 8th in the country and a rival, and IU sucks. Regardless of prior occurrences, a court-storm would absolutely be called for.

 

That being said, Purdue is not going to lose.
