St. John's has beaten four top 10 teams this year at home and ND was without its 2nd best player in that game as well as the Marquette game you reference. I think that's a valid data point especially since every Purdue fan I know has pissed and moaned all year about Hummel being injured.

I'd say you are a 4 seed. But, that's all off of the eye test. Although this year there isn't a lot of good teams.

butters, TT, and other mizzou fans--word is KU/MU recruit Ben McLemore got kicked off the team at Oak Hill.

I don't think he'll be eligible to play anywhere. I doubt there's even enough KU pixie dust to make that happen.

 

I was just kinda waiting to be let down with him a la Releford, so I'm not too bummed to hear that. How would him not playing HS ball make him ineligible though? Did he get kicked off for grades or also get kicked out of school? Hopefully they can still find someone, I'm half convinced they need the next Tiller more than they need an offensive dynamo right now anyway, so maybe it'll work out.

 

Just an update on this question RE: eligibility--both the rivals and scout recruiting gurus have said McLemore was already in the danger zone when it came to qualifying. Leaving Oak Hill makes the likelihood of him getting his academics in order seem unlikely, according to them.

I don't see how this Iowa team win in a place like Champaign. Illinois is struggling but they aren't losing at home to Iowa. I could see Iowa beating them in Iowa City if they played now.

The last time that the top four teams in the coaches poll all lost in a week was the 03-04 season. That was in November and two of the teams (Michigan State and Arizona) ended up not being that good, and were first-round outs in the NCAA tournament as a No. 7 and No. 9 seed. The other two teams were UConn and Duke, who met in the National Semis with UConn winning the title.

Went to Chapel Hill for the weekend and checked out the Dean Dome on Saturday for UNC-Boston College. Pretty cool experience and it's something that every fan of college basketball should do in their lifetime. More specifically, the museum is something that every college basketball fan should check out.

 

The game itself was poorly played, but at least the finish was decent.
