So his highschool coach pays three months worth of rent, his highschool teachers may or may not have given him underserved grades his senior year, and an anonymous college coach says Bledsoe's coach asked for money to help with rent. And this makes Calipari scum of the earth why? Do we even know if the highschool coach ended up getting paid?

I want to know how 8 classes/credits somehow jumps you from being a freshman to a senior. There's obviously something up with Mitchell's grades, but between the report patting itself on the back about 5 times and that credits bit, I'm not sure how much of it is true.

Because high school courses are only worth one credit. I think I had like 19 credits going into my senior year of high school and only needed 1 or 2 more to graduate. I don't find that too far fetched. It sounds strange, but why he wouldn't be given credit for the "home school" classes from the accredited private school doesn't make much sense to me.

Mizzou recruit Tony Mitchell:

"Sources said he took the equivalent of nine course make-up exams in two days — five of them over a two-hour period. Mitchell passed every test, and — in just a matter of hours — went from being a freshman at Pinkston to qualifying as a senior."

anderson knew that he was a risk when he offered him and was by no means banking on him playing.

I've heard there could be issues with one of the juco kids, but it was from one of the scout boards. i.e. Phog.

Iowa and Wisconsin are the latest to offer Jarrod Uthoff. He now has Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Butler, Arizona State, Iowa State and others. I still cannot believe how much he's blown up this spring/summer.

Saw this Buzz Williams video linked on another board. There's some bs but he's a little different than I thought and he can sell a room.

I'll admit to being a Marquette alum, but I like Buzz a lot. He strikes me as the kind of guy who the players absolutely love and work hard for. He's a bit too candid/brash at times (his mouth has gotten him into some minor trouble during postgames) and very OCD by his own admission, but he channels that into an obsession with numbers and routine. Quirky, but clearly knows his stuff. I'm sure I'm blinded by the homer glasses, but I hope he sticks around for a while. Plus, he can dance. Check it out:

Per Tom Crean's twitter account, Bawa Muniru is officially transferring from Indiana. That opens the door to adding two more recruits to the 2011 class which is kind of what people expected to happen all along. Jeremiah Davis and Cody Zeller remain the obvious targets although I guess Aaron Thomas is in the mix too in the event JD decides otherwise.

And you thought Indiana had no frontcourt depth last year.

I really don't see any difference. Bawa couldn't even get on the court at all last season. If this Guy Marc Michel character can get on the court for 5-10 minutes per game then we automatically have better frontcourt depth than last season. :stickman:

man, i am really drinking the kool-aid this year more than ever. i can't see the illini not winning the big ten. in my mind, it would be a huge disappointment, this team has everything.

we are going to have crandall head as like our 11th player. that is absolutely disgusting.

i am predicting a big ten title and a top seed in the tourney, we're simply one of the best teams in the country. i cannot wait for basketball season.
