Well I think the Bucs desperately need defensive linemen and I would've taken McCoy or Suh at #3 over Berry but most of the defensive linemen I liked are already gone and the one I would put in this area, Jerry Hughes, is more of a 3-4 linebacker in the pros IMO. The Bucs just lost Antonio Bryant and Freeman will need someone to throw to besides KW2.

I'll take Arrelious Benn.

Vikings needs are at DT, CB and QB with the possiblity of G. The DT's I want are off the board as are the top two interior lineman. That means it's down to Devin McCourty at CB from Rutgers or Colt McCoy. The #3 CB or #3 QB.

QB is the more important position, CB is the more immediate need with Cedric Griffin's injury. Both players fit in well with what the Vikings do. McCourty is the better value pick.

The Vikings select Devin McCourty from Rutgers.

I think Favre is coming back for 1 more year. Then I think the Vikes make a big splash again at QB.

Why not go the Packers route and let him sit for a year or two? Why wait until Favre is gone and then throw a rookie in the fire?

No knockout pick for the Chiefs here. While I considered going defense again, the pick is Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma.

Who said anything about a rookie? I said big splash, again....I thought it was pretty obvious that I meant a FA signing. McNabb will be a FA after 2010.

Okay, its nearing the 24 hour mark in a few hours. Any opinions on what the Browns would be looking for at this pick?

Possibilities:

Kareem Jackson , CB, Alabama

Jahvid Best, RB, California

Dominique Franks, CB, Oklahoma

Jonathan Dwyer , RB, Georgia Tech

Eric Norwood, OLB, South Carolina

I think if the Browns did go QB in round 1 that defense would be their round 2 strategy.

With the Browns apparently traded Wimbley to the Raiders, i prolly would take Eric Norwood ..

WEll its way past 24 hours, so I don't know if dew makes the pick in this situation, but that sounds like a consensus to me, lets keep this thing moving.

Sorry fellas.

It appears Norwood is the consensus pick for the Browns so we'll go with him. Though I'm not sure he's really a 3-4 linebacker.

soccer10k and the Raiders are now on the clock. I PMd him.

FWIW, that suggestion came straight from the suggestion of Mel Kiper.

Ah, ok. In fact, I'm just assuming the Browns are still running a 3-4. I know that's Mangini's defense of choice, but Holmgren has always run a 4-3.

With Nnamdi Asomghua reportedly on the trading block, I could see the Raiders go CB here. Anyone have an opinion on Jackson from Alabama, Robinson from Florida State and Cox from Oklahoma State?

I've seen Robinson rated the highest, I do believe.

I like Kareem Jackson a lot. He was one of Alabama's best defensive players and a shutdown corner for them last season. Perrish Cox is very solid as well, but I tend to prefer Jackson (could be at least partially because I've seen him a bit more, though).

Every position ranking I've seen lists Jackson over Cox as well.

Ok so I have changed my mind. If the Seahawks draft goes like this I would be estatic given:

A. Derek Anderson is on their radar to replace Seneca as the backup/future QB (UGH!)

B. THe fact that they can address their 3 biggest issues right now in the 1st 3 rounds with non reaches

Seahawks pick RB Jahvid Best
