First time I ever heard it was Mike North several years ago, coincidentally talking about Tiger Woods and his hot wife.

This could be the lowest point in Tiger's PGA Tour career (and he is still the #1 player in the world!). Unfortunately there is no cut at the WGC Firestone and he has to play all four rounds.

 

The lowlights today:

- He had a short chip and it rolled down a hill right back to him

- He had a short approach shot that he must have hit 40 yards left of the hole. He then proceeded to go up to the ball very quickly with no practice swing and hit a 40 yard wedge halfway to the hole. He really didn't even try. It was John Daly-esque.

 

If Phil lands in the top 4 tomorrow, he will be the number one player in the world. The thing with Tiger is that he doesn't seem to be getting better, but worse. Maybe the divorce is hanging over his head. It seems that he really won't be able to turn things around until that is finished. But I don't think anyone can guarantee that once that is passed, Tiger will return to form.
