North Dakota at UC Davis (4 pm)

With both teams at 2-1, this game is for the Great West title. UCD should win this game, especially because they're at home.

I really think I'd be okay with losing to Iowa State at home by several touchdowns if we could take KSU behind the woodshed. Their ascent to the top of the North without beating a single team in the top half of the conference is irritating. Plus Bill Snyder is right up there with Pelini of the coaches I hate most in the conference. Oh sweet, one of them gets to win the North now because we got 40 hung on us by Baylor. I'm going to stop depressing myself now.

At this point I'm afraid we'll need 7 wins to make a bowl, and I'm not positive we'll get six.

I think they'll be alright. Saturday sucked, but I have confidence they'll straighten it out for this week.

I just hope the D can keep it together. The people calling out Blaine after he had his best game as a Tiger blow my mind. K-State seems to be pretty good against the run but eh against the pass, so hopefully we can open it up a bit. We'll see what happens. I have no expectations for the rest of the year now, so we'll just see how it works out.

I'm not confident that Iowa will score a single point (on offense).

Vandenberg will be better. Not sure he'll be good enough to win but he won't be 9-27 for 82 yards and a pick. The real problem is that we can't run the ball.

I'm confident the defense will hold OSU's offense down though. We need a positive (likely +2 or more) turnover margin to win.

OSU has a top 10 defense. It's going to be quite difficult for Iowa to do anything on offense, especially since you won't be able to run the ball.

Purdue finally beats OSU and Michigan in the same season (very rare but I think done before) and yet are one loss away from being ineligible for a bowl game.

They did in 2000, with Brees. I had season tickets that year, fun year. Didn't lose at home and went to the Rose Bowl.

Tennessee vs. Ole Miss for a possible spot in the Top 25.

Ole MIss is the early favorite (-3.5), but I cannot believe that Houston Nutt can outscheme the Tennessee staff. No way.

I can't even talk smack for that game. Ole Miss this year makes me want to punch a nun. They suck so hard.
