Cincinnati isn't nearly as good as the hype they were getting last week, but they are a real threat. That's especially true since the Bears aren't all that good either. Two tight wins, and two mistake ridden losses exposed many weaknesses. This team can't run. We all knew they couldn't block, and that's not getting any better. They can't defense the pass all that well either, in part because they insist on blitzing ALL THE FREAKING TIME and those blitzers are very easily blocked. They need to go back to cover-2 coverage with a 4 man rush.

Bengals are 2.5 point favorites right now. I hate the Bears.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I hope Hunter is back. Roach looked lost.

The Bengals defense is much, much better than past years. I don't see the Bears getting much going on the ground again. Hopefully they can be on the right end of the turnover margin and can squeak one out on the road.

They are 19th in yards allowed/game, 28th in pass yards allowed, 11th in rush yards and 14th in points/game. They aren't terrible, but they are a slight notch below the Bears defensively, I believe.

middle of the pack is a large improvement over past years is all I'm saying. I've seen more Bengals games than Bears, and I've been very impressed with the Cincy defense at times, particularly the linebackers

the bengals defense is better, but if peko and odom are out next week that hurts. there's also the possibility cutler goes nuts since schaub carved them up last week.

but what the hell, bengals 27 bears 20

After the Houston Texans and Matt Shaub carved up the secondary of the Bengals, Im feeling much better about this game. Odom being out is huge, and Benson was non existent yesterday basically. I think the Bears put up some points in this one.

Bears 36 Bengals 14

does this mean that Rocket is going to be the focus of Sulley's scorn this week?

Isn't everyone the focus of Sulley's scorn when it comes right down to it? :)

Chicago Bears

Omiyale signed a four-year, $14 million deal with the Chicago Bears on February 27, 2009.[2] The Bears are very pleased in landing Frank Omiyale, and have introduced him to the rest of the team. Since then he has been a pile and should be benched immediately. [3]

=D>

LOL, outstanding.

tell that pinko bastard to bring it on

also, despite some late heroics, palmer has been mediocre-at-best this season. i'd really like to see him return to 05-07 form soon, or the bengals are going nowhere despite the good start.

I believe the Bears have a decent shot at winning this provided they can get out of their own way and limit the mental mistakes. What is about Lovie' teams that frequently have breakdowns late in close games leading to the inevitable loss? We've see it time and time again over his career as Bears coach.

BENSON'S REVENGE

either that or he'll cry again

It needs Urlacher and Mike Brown in there for it to really be revenge. If I remember right, those are the two guys that were putting the hurt on him in practice.

LOL, Ochocinco is hilarious.

The thing about him is, after the game he'll probably complement everyone on their performance. He did that with Vasher a few years back.

And I think the reason he gets replies is that guys like him. I'd love him on the Bears. But he's not chirping for a change of scenery these days.

Peter King tweeted that the Bears could be active today in trade talks. The trade deadline is in 25 minutes..

I bet most likely nothing happens but its at least interesting to follow...
