Is there any chance Benn goes pro after this year?

i always assumed he would.

Me too, but hoped we would get one year of him with a quarterback who gets him the ball.

I'm getting Cubs-like disappointment because of Mississippi State. Oh well.

LSU will lose eventually. what did they rush for, like 50 yards?

oh, and here's the thing about miami... their D has tons of athletes, but they can't tackle for [expletive]. pay attention to the missed tackles in this game

Just wanted to reiterate how stupid the playcalling was in that MSU game. Dan Mullen has arguably the best power RB in the SEC with 4 inches to go and two chances.

Granted, 9 times out of 10 that delayed pass is a TD, but still....I don't think you get cute when you've been manhandling LSU's defense on the ground the whole game with the best power back in the conference.

Kansas holds on. Blaine Gabbert should throw for 600 yards against their defense, though I wish we played them earlier in the year before their D has a chance to get their feet underneath them.

I still want to see Gabbert play against a team that's worth a ish before I jump on his bandwagon. (Sorry UI.) I was unimpressed vs Nevada, and I won't even bring up the Bowling Green game. Last night, all he was doing was tossing up jump balls. That won't fly in the Big 12.

But yeah, our defense looked pretty porous today. Didn't give me a lot of confidence heading into the Big 12 season. I have a feeling the South teams are gonna light us up, just like last year.

Well the 3rd down call should've been a touchdown. The moron QB tried to rifle it through the line when he could've lobbed it underhand and it would've been complete.

The problem with Mullen's system is that when you don't have a guy like Tebow short yardage is a problem because you don't have a guy getting down hill quickly. Even handing to a power back usually involves some sort of option fake and that just wastes time when you need 6 inches.

For the life of me I don't underestand why these spread option teams can't put in an I formation. It should at least be in their package instead of some 3 fake option smoke and mirrors crap when all you need is ONE FREAKING FOOT.

You'll get to see him light up Nebraska in about 10 days.

Wasn't that delayed pass pretty much the same play that Tebow did in that famous dunk pass.
