Thank goodness I get Cal-Oregon because I have no desire to watch Ohio State and Illinois.

I think if you go back and read Andy's posts from week to week you'll find that all teams other than ND have the refs in their back pocket.

Still, I'm a diehard Michigan fan and even I think they got the call wrong on that interception. Indiana definitely lost the game though by not converting in the red zone. Pathetic effort by Michigan today. That's 2 games in a row that they've looked like crap.

That's unfair and you know it. Michigan is 2-2 without significant help from the refs.

put in eddie mcgee. juice has consistently shown he is too stupid / just not good enough to not kill the team with his terrible turnovers. god, what an overrated joke.

The interception call was bad and it certainly secured the win for Michigan but it didn't take a win away from Indiana. The ball was picked off at the Indiana 30 with 2:14 left. That means Indiana would have to realistically drive around 40 yards to get into field goal range, which is far from a lock.

what's the point in even saying this? i have no desire to watch west coast teams, either, but why say it?

Well, Cal-Oregon is a lot more important of a game for starters. Not to meniton Illinois is garbage.

Yeah it is real easy for the Michigan fans to blow off the ending to that game and just say IU should have converted more often in the red zone. Sure. Guarantee if it was YOUR rear ends having a game essentially ended by that kind of call you would be singing a different tune. But nah Michigan won so it is all good. Those are just the breaks and all that other BS.

Because anyone who enjoys the Big Ten should be shot. Mission accomplished ESPN.

juice is very mechanical out there. he has the stronger arm, but i wouldn't say he's the better passer, nor would i say he's a better runner. he may be a bit smarter, but that's not saying much.

how about we just go young and throw in charest?

I'd have no problem with that either.

Hopefully Scheelhaase gets a fair shot to win the job outright next year.

It's because I think Cal-Oregon is going to be a much, much more entertaining game than Ohio State-Illinois and I would rather get Miami-VaTech (and might watch it over Cal-Oregon) instead of Ohio-State-Illinois. I'm getting two games - Cal on ABC and Ohio State on ESPN. The guide on ESPN said I would get either the Ohio State game or the Miami game.

It has nothing to do with watching West Coast teams and everything with me wanting to watch the better game.

EDIT: That's not to say I wouldn't switch to Ohio State if it turned out to be a good game, because I would. But right now, that looks like the least entertaining and least important game out of the three.

It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Michigan isn't a good football team. The defense gets steamrolled every weekend and the freshman QB's make far too many mistakes. It's not like Michigan will be competing for the National Championship or even the Big Ten Championship.
