what would possess them to give the ball to michigan in that situation?

The same thing that would possess them to ignore interference calls against us, give them extra time against PSU, etc...

This game has been stolen from Indiana.

And the guy who called the interception was the guy who had the best view. Total failure

Um, no. I won't.

Plus the ref makes it worse by saying the call stands - i.e. he actually thinks it's an interception. The least he could have said was there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call. That still would have been BS, but it would have been a more legitimate excuse.

That's what "the call stands" means. Otherwise he would've said "the call is confirmed".

I thought they just said the call stands in all cases in college. I'm sure refs have said confirmed in college and I've heard it in the pros but I can't remember hearing it in college.

That's BS. Sure, IU should've scored TD's, but that is an abysmal call -- that even stood on review. I've never witnessed IU beating Michigan, that was a great chance. What an awful, awful call. I'm apoplectic. I think I managed to post without profanity. So there's that.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. That looked like an interception to me. :-$

What a [expletive] horrible game by Michigan.

I've heard 'confirmed' a few times in college.

The Big Ten needs to do something about this, because this is embarrassing for the league. You can't just blatantly hand games to the big-ticket team in the conference without repercussion.
