Mizzou's o-line is pathetic tonight. So is their rush D, but I'm loving the pass rush.

So Mizzou is backed up inside their own 20 with 30 seconds left. Nevada has no timeouts and they only need to run one play. Instead of taking a knee, let's run a draw and cough it up.

Then Nevada gets an unsportsmanlike on the recovery. Then with 0 timeouts left Kapernick tries to run up the middle of the field with 23 seconds remaining. They have to spike it with 5. Then on the final play of the half from the Mizzou 40, instead of chucking up the hail mary he throws it out of bounds.

 

You can't get much more incompetent in a final 30 seconds of a half.

It's really not this bad, but they've got to get it going now that conference play is starting.

I can't [expletive] wait for tonight. Basically a 100% chance of rain and temps in the 50's tonight. Hopefully that keeps some of the non-students from being too loud and maybe diminishes the dreaded white out.

 

If Iowa can avoid early mistakes and weather the early wave, I like their chances.

Our first game without Floyd, Armando Allen may be out, and Jimmy Clausen is not 100 percent. If ever there was a lucky week for a bad team to catch Notre Dame, this is it. Even when we beat Michigan State, they still find a way to piss me off.

Normally I'd be pulling for Miss State to beat LSU, but the amount of gloating I received over our Loss has negated that. I hope LSU destroys them.

 

However, it is POURING at that game and so I'd throw the upset alert out there. State has a damn good run game.
