Michigan by 7 touchdowns.

At least one of the 6 arms on your 3-headed QB monster will be knocked off on Saturday. Book it. :)

Oh and if Illinois struggles against ISU (they were blown out by EIU this past week), I might check to see if fireronzook.com is up for sale.

 

 

I'm an EIU student and went to watch the game... Jake Christensen (former Iowa QB) had a field day against ISU in part because he had all the time in the world and in part because his receivers were often wide open.

 

ISU also could not run the ball whatsoever against EIU. EIU's D-line spent a lot of time in the backfield. Anything short of a complete beatdown by Illinois should be considered a huge dissappointment. ISU has nothing.

I think Tennessee/UCLA could be competitive for that title as well. But yeah, those matchups should not be 2-3 in biggest games of the weekend.

saw that one coming before you even said it, haha. i think michigan fans would be all for sheridan's incapacitation.

 

There's a reason why he was a walk-on. He shouldn't be getting any playing time, and his interception in the endzone last week was a terrible reminder of the atrocity that was last season.

In one of the two games I always root for Michigan every year. The other being Ohio State.

 

I'm really excited about the Purdue game. On the road at Oregon. Not the same Oregon we thought it would be but it's still on the road at a decent BCS school. I want to see if Bolden really is that good.

 

Purdue's offense is better than I expected. The big issue is obviously the pass defense, and I don't see that getting much better anytime soon.

That'll be a really good game (has similar upset potential to OU/BYU), but I don't think it has the national draw that UT/UCLA or ND/Michigan have. It's one of the top games this weekend though.

I'm beginning to think Dan Hawkins won't be around when I go see Mizzou v. Colorado on Halloween. Colorado is getting blown out by Toledo. TOLEDO.

 

Yeah, Colorado looks like an intramural team this year.

Talk on the ND boards is that if Weis is the coach who's supposed to be the guy, the Irish will beat Michigan rather easily tomorrow. Rationale being we're a year ahead of them in the 'process' and are much more talented (particularly in the 'experienced talent' category). Interesting perspective.

While previewing the ND/Mich game they looked at each teams schedule the next few weeks. Herby, Corso, and others just assumed that MSU would be easy games for both of the teams. this seems to be a huge oversight to me.

Ugh. I was at that game. The memory of the 37-7 3rd-quarter score still haunts.
