One of the gunshots to McNair's temple was fired at close range, said Bruce Levy, state medical examiner. Kazemi’s own gunshot wound was a contact shot, meaning the gun was touching her head when it was fired.

 

The medical examiner's office will be using all the information from the investigation to determine whether Kazemi’s death was homicide or suicide, Levy said, because it usually takes much more than a wound to classify a death as a suicide. In this case, there is no note, and no living witness.

 

“All the autopsy tells us is that her wound is potentially self inflicted,” Levy said. “In these cases, the cause of death is obvious. The manner of death a little trickier. We like to have as many factors as possible before we make a determination.”

I can't trust a publication that insists the girl was gorgeous.

 

Having worked years ago at a downtown Chicago hotel bar where a number of teams stayed, she doesn't even look like she'd get a first glance at being "road beef". But then again I wouldn't call her a slump buster.

 

You can't even imagine how gorgeous some of the jersey chasers are that I saw come through the place.

 

Yeah, I know. This woman was obviously fatal attraction to the nth degree. I wonder if McNair even saw it coming. She's DUIing all over town, has a gun -- sheesh. If you're going to dump your wife, at least find a sane woman and then break it off officially. Don't tool around with a psycho.
